5.4.1.2  Due Care

As with much of this domain of Security+, common sense comes into play. This is key term for saying “after considering the situation, has a balance been struck between protecting assets and the privacy of both workers and customers?” In other words, have you taken the care due the situation, to protect those items within your responsibility, be they customer databases, servers, network hubs, user accounts, etc.? Failure of anyone within a company to perform “due care” could result in liability for the company431, which could be grounds for termination of an employee.
