V File-Related DOS Commands
Now that we have covered some of
the more fundamental DOS commands, its time to move on to the
more advanced commands that deal with files, directories, partitions
and related concepts. We start at the beginning, with FDISK,
an external program introduced with DOS version 2. It
is short for fixed disk and is used to prepare disk partitions
so a hard disk can store programs and data.
