MEMMAKER

Tuning what (programs) would go where (in memory) in DOS was a fine art that not many folks mastered. With DOS 5 came MEMMAKER. This is a program that automagically tuned what was loaded high. This can be seen in both CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT configurations with the first line containing the letters, LH (load high) in front of the device driver or program.
