XVII  BIOS Updates

As it was revealed in chapter 0100 on hard drives, older BIOSes don't know about larger hard drives. Installing a new hard drive in an older computer either needs Disk Management software or new BIOS. The new BIOS is the preferred choice.

Depending on the specific drive geometry, older BIOS will "top out" between 512 MB and 540 MB.
