Sharing More Than Your Spam

If you have any other Mac, or Linux or UNIX, or Windows machine for that matter, on your network, you need to set your File Sharing up. You do this in System Preferences.

You access it by clicking File Sharing and then you can control File Sharing as well as Web Sharing, FTP access, and remote login.

You can share both files and folders with other users on your network by finding that user’s Drop Box, located in /Users/”username”/Public/Drop Box. Anyone can put things here for the user. It really is that person’s network Inbox. You can also view things they have placed in either their Public folder or their Sites folder.
