Out of Memory Error

Swap file is set too small, so enlarge it to solve the issue.

Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance, Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory > Change. Piece of cake to remember is it not?

On Windows 9x it’s in a similar place: Control Panel > System > Performance > Virtual Memory.

You can slow drive fragmentation by setting the minimum and maximum amount of a swap file to be the same size (on the larger side) in the Control Panel.
